Hello, and welcome to our home! 

We’re so happy you’ve chosen our property for your vacation. We would like to make you aware of the House Rules in place at our vacation rental. Understanding and complying with our house rules will make for a comfortable and fun stay for everybody! 

Please read each of the rules carefully in order to avoid any danger or deductions from your security deposit upon check-out. 

Please ensure you read and fully understand the house rules at the beginning of your stay. If anything is unclear, please contact us so we can explain in further detail to avoid any misunderstandings. 

Have fun! This is your vacation time, and we hope you make the most of our home, its amenities and your opportunity to relax and visit the surrounding area. 

    General Requirements 

    • All Guests (and any Visitors) must comply with all House Rules and any other instructions from the Property Manager during their stay; and Guests must notify the Property Manager of any disputes or complaints from neighbours as soon as reasonably practicable. 
    • Please treat our house with the same respect as you would your own home. We’ve put a lot of effort into making this into a lovely space to be enjoyed by our guests. 
    • Be sure to maintain a good level of cleanliness throughout your stay, this will make it much easier when check-out time comes. Any additional or deep cleaning required following your stay will likely result in a penalty deduction from the security deposit. 

    NOISE AND THE NEIGHBORHOOD

    • Guests are fully responsible for the safety and security of their children at all times, as well as any disturbance caused to other residents in the Neighbourhood. 
    • Guests and Visitors must keep noise to a minimum as not to disturb the occupants of neighbouring properties – especially during night-time hours (10pm – 8am), and upon arrival and departure. 
    • Excessive noise is prohibited at all times and may result in termination of the vacation rental agreement, eviction, loss of rental paid and extra charges which may be deducted from the Security Deposit. 

    VISITORS 

    • Guests are allowed a maximum of five Visitors at any time during their stay. 
    • Guests are responsible for ensuring maximum visitor numbers are not exceeded; and that visitors are complicit with these House Rules. 
    • Any additional overnight Visitors must be approved in advance during the booking process and are subject to an additional fee as noted in the price. 

    FUNCTIONS 

    • Parties and large gatherings of any kind are strictly prohibited at the Vacation Rental. 
    • Any small gathering must comply with other rules set regarding Noise, the Neighbourhood and Visitor numbers. 
    • Guests and any Visitors are to comply with parking regulations and other requirements set out below and show consideration to neighbours and other vehicles. 
    • Parking arrangements at the Vacation Rental are as follows: Please use designated parking areas only. 

    GARBAGE AND RECYCLING 

    • Guests and their Visitors are to dispose of Garbage and Recycling in accordance with the usual practice at the Vacation Rental, the allocated trash cans, and excess rubbish must not be left in public or common areas. 
    • Garbage and Recycling arrangements at the Vacation Rental are as follows: Please use dedicated Garbage and recycling area at the entrance of the estate. 

    SECURITY 

    • Any time Guests leave the Vacation Rental, it is their responsibility to ensure all windows and doors are closed/locked to maintain security and prevent rain and water damage. 
    • Guests must switch off lights, air conditioning, fans, electronics such as televisions when not in use to promote energy saving. It is not permitted to leave the air conditioning on when Guests are absent from the Vacation Rental or when door and/or windows are open. 

    HOT TUB/ SWIMMING POOL 

    • For safety reasons, it is not permitted to use any glassware in or around the pool area. Failure to comply with this rule will result in a fine deducted from the security deposit. 

    BALCONY AND DECK AREAS 

    • Guests must supervise any babies and children at all times when using the Deck and Balcony areas. 

    SMOKING 

    • Smoking is not permitted inside the Vacation Rental
    • Cigarette butts must be disposed of properly and not thrown on property grounds. Failure to do so will result in a deduction from the security deposit. 

    PETS 

    • Pets are not permitted at the Vacation Rental, unless by prior arrangement. 

    BARBECUE 

    • Please ensure the barbecue is left clean and emptied of fuel. Failure to comply with this rule will result in a fine deducted from the security deposit. 

    DAMAGES AND BREAKAGES 

    • All Damages and Breakages must be reported to the Property Manager as soon as reasonably practicable. Failure to report them will likely result in a penalty deduction from the security deposit. 
    • To avoid Damages and Breakages, no furniture is to be moved from one room to another without prior agreement. 
    • No bathroom towels are to be removed from the property (i.e. for beach use). 
    • In case of any accidental damage, we’ll look into the issue internally to decide if and how much the deduction or repair cost will be. 

    COMPLIANCE 

    • Breach of any of these House Rules is a breach of the Terms and Conditions of occupancy. 
    • The Owner and Manager reserve the right to terminate permission to occupy and to evict from the Vacation Rental, any Guests or Visitors who refuse to follow these House Rules or who cause a nuisance to neighbours or other residents of the community. 
    • Booking or Staying at the property is considered full acceptance of these House Rules
